Position Overview:
The Business Lead (Agency) will be a strategic and results-oriented professional responsible for leading our agency’s efforts in lead generation, business development, and client acquisition. This role requires a deep understanding of the marketing agency landscape, including expertise in digital marketing, strategy, and media buying. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in driving sales and conversion, as well as a strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Lead Generation & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to generate high-quality leads and new business opportunities within the marketing agency sector.
- Identify and pursue potential clients, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, industry events, and other lead generation activities.
- 2. Client Acquisition & Sales:
- Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective clients.
- Present and articulate the agency’s value proposition and capabilities effectively to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close contracts, achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
- 3. Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning our services to meet their objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- 4. Market Research & Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Analyze market data and client feedback to refine business development strategies and improve service offerings.
- 5. Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, strategy, and media buying, to ensure alignment and integration of client campaigns.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and tactical plans based on client needs and market trends.
- 6. Reporting & Metrics:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and business development activities.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in lead generation, business development, and sales within the Bangladeshi marketing industry.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the marketing agency business, including expertise in digital marketing, strategy, media buying, and related fundamentals.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to drive sales and conversions, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and strong relationship-building capabilities.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with CRM software, sales tools, and digital marketing platforms.
